We will discuss the Electronic Refunds Interim Final Rule and the ACH refund enrollment process, as well as consequences of taking any action.

 

Step by step instruction on how to obtain:

 

  • An ACE Importer Portal Account
  • How to Create/Update Importer Identity Form /Point of Contact (POC) Details on File
  • How to identify and change Top Account Trade Account Owner, set up importer's view and
  • How to add required ACH refund bank information.

 

We will also discuss frequently asked questions.

Sandra Langford-Coty LCB, CCS, Director of Operational Development at A.N. Deringer, Inc.

Sandra (Sandy) Langford-Coty is the Director of Operational Development at A.N. Deringer, Inc. In this position she oversees the corporate audit program and serves as a liaison between systems and operations in implementation of new regulations and process improvements

Sandy is Chair of the Customs Committee for the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA). Additionally, she serves the Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association in her role as President. She is a member of the 17th Term of the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) and is active within US Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network. In addition. Sandy also has served as Past President of the Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association (LACBFFA).

In May 2024, Sandy was honored with the Marjorie M. Shostak Distinguished Service Award by the Foreign Trade Association during World Trade Week.

Sandy is a Licensed Customs Broker and a Certified Customs Specialist with a bachelor’s degree in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts.

 

 

Ania Fuller, Director of Consulting and Regulatory Affairs, A.N. Deringer, Inc.

Ania Wierzbowska-Fuller has more than 20 years of leadership experience in various industries. She currently leads Deringer’s Trade Advisory Group, trade compliance, and regulatory affairs. Prior to Deringer, Ania was with Target Corporation for 12 years, including five years in leadership roles at Target’s Global Trade Services, where she was responsible for duty savings strategies, including Target’s First Sale Program, as well as facilitating execution of Target’s Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) Program. Additionally, she oversaw import compliance and related issues, and worked to assure vendor compliance with U.S. customs laws and regulations, including providing training for overseas business units and suppliers. In addition to being a licensed customs broker, Ania holds an MBA degree from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
